IPUMS Full Count Data and Record Linkage: Updates and Research Opportunities

IPUMS produces a massive scientific data collection from the U.S. census enumerations from 1850 to 1950 (available from IPUMS USA). These data are creating new opportunities for research across the social and health sciences. By linking individuals and families across censuses, the IPUMS Multigenerational Longitudinal Panel allows researchers to trace individuals over their lives and to trace families over multiple generations.
Mixer Goal
This will be an opportunity to share updates on full count and record linkage at IPUMS and to connect local researchers over shared interests related to these data.
