Andrew Fenelon

Biography

Andrew Fenelon is an Associate Professor in the Division of Epidemiology & Community Health in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He is a demographer and population health scientist interested in the social and policy determinants of health. Specifically, he studies how housing policy can improve health and well-being and reduce inequalities across the life course. His work examines how public housing and housing choice voucher programs are related to physical and mental health, environmental risk exposures, neighborhood attainment, dementia, and diabetes control, and considers how these programs might reduce racial/ethnic and economic disparities.
