The Minnesota Population Center offers several training opportunities for MPC members, staff, graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and the public. MPC funds numerous interdisciplinary pre-doctoral fellowships; maintains a popular masters and PhD minor in Population Studies; hosts post-doctoral researchers; runs a weekly seminar series; and houses dozens of research projects and their affiliated pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students.
