Public Use Microdata Sample of the 1910 Census

National Institute of Health. HD3888. Co-Principal Investigators: Steven Ruggles and Ron Goeken.

The 1910 public use microdata sample will replace a small sample of the 1910 census created by Samuel Preston in the 1980s.  With the completion of a new sample for 1910, all eight samples for the period 1850 through 1930 will share identical sample designs, compatible data editing procedures and integrated documentation.
