Abstract: This presentation is an overview of the major data systems from the National Center for Health Statistics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other health related Federal agencies that are available through the growing national health data enclave system.  It will provide examples of how the data are being used in current research and a discussion on how to access them. There will be a discussion on the differences between restricted and unrestricted data and how the Research Data Centers facilitate access to them.
