The Minnesota Population Center (MPC) is one of the world’s leading developers of demographic data resources. In these hands-on workshops, local researchers will learn about the content of the data resources and receive basic information about how to get and use the data, which are available free over the internet.
This session covers the National Historical Geographic Information System (NHGIS), which includes tabular U.S. Census data and GIS boundary files from 1790 to 2000.
Workshops are free but limited to 20 people. Please email training@pop.umn.edu to register.
