The Minnesota Population Center (MPC) is one of the world’s leading developers of demographic data resources. In these hands-on workshops, local researchers will learn about the content of the data resources and receive basic information about how to get and use the data, which are available free over the internet.
This session covers the North Atlantic Population Project (NAPP), which includes complete-count data from 1800s censuses of Canada, Great Britain, Norway, Sweden, and the U.S., including 500,000 cases linked across the U.S. Censuses of 1850-1930.
Workshops are free but limited to 20 people. Please email training@pop.umn.edu to register.
