Fee Based Services
The Minnesota Population Center provides a wide range of services to our members and outside data users. MPC members may obtain these services for low or no-cost.
- Customized data extractions form public data files covering the entire US.
- Restructuring data files
- Recoding:
- Currency adjustments
- Calculated variables
- Geographic codes
- Customized layouts for data presentation
- Estimations of median, quintiles, quartiles etc. from aggregate data
- Data analysis
- Creation of aggregate data tables form microdata files
- Production of indicators from aggregate or microdata
- Digitization of data
- Metadata creation services
- Occupational coding
Contract Services Information
A contract for service must be completed for all fee based work.
Current Hourly Rate: approx. $60.00-$75.00

The MN Data Center will provide an estimate of time required for completion
If you are planning on using the MN Data Center services on a routine basis, please contact Wendy Thomas regarding an extended service contact. An extended service contract can cover up to one year of service provision at a fixed hourly rate with a set yearly cap. Each project will be invoiced when completed.
