Fee-Based Services
Fee-based data processing, scanning services, metadata
creation/consultation and more are available to support non-MPC
affiliated research projects.Services are subject to staffing availability. Services include:
- Assist in the process of data identification, access, and acquisition
- Data sub-setting or restructuring
- Data analysis
- Geo-coding and matching [attaching public data fields based on geographic codes]
- Black and white scanning
- OCR services
- Consultation on metadata standards and metadata structures requested by archives and funding agencies
- Metadata creation
As the coordinating member of the MN State Data Center Program, the Data Access Core of the MPC also provides data processing and custom data products to state and local government agencies, non-profits, businesses, and independent researchers on a fee basis.
