Data Access Core
The Data Access Core manages and disseminates MPC data collections and provides MPC researchers with access to demographic data from other centers and archives.
What we do
The Data Access core serves the research community by maintaining metadata for MPC research projects, cataloging, maintaining and digitizing MPC's collection of print documentation, and participating in the development of new metadata standards. The core staff also provide consultation to members on the availability of data from sources outside of the MPC and assist MPC members in locating, obtaining and restructuring specific data files. Finally, the Data Access Core is a custom service provider for the Minnesota State Data Center and in that capacity provides data services to state and local governments and other organizations.
