The MPC is the premier site for historically comparable census microdata for the US and over 20 additional countries, the US Current Population Survey, new expanding collections of health related data, and historic US aggregate data and shape files. These data are available through easy to use on-line search and extraction systems. For a full listing of data available at the MPC click on “data” in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Outside Data Sources
- ICPSR - the University of Minnesota is a member of the Interuniversity Consortium of Political and Social Research, the most extensive archive of its kind in the U.S. with connections to a large number of European archives.
- University Libraries Government Publications Library has a well maintained list of links to a wide range of statistical data sources from governmental and intergovernmental-governmental agencies
